The Slack app delivers:

  • Weekly goal alignment reminders
  • Streak tracking and lightweight progress feedback
  • Gentle nudges designed using behavioral science principles

How it works

After installation:

  1. Users receive a welcome message in Slack from the Focus Tiger bot.
  2. The bot sends daily prompts via direct message.
  3. Users respond directly inside Slack.
  4. Weekly goal reminders are delivered via Slack messages.
  5. Users can optionally access extended learning modules in the Focus Tiger web platform.

Focus Tiger does not access or read Slack channel messages.
The app interacts with users via direct messages and does not monitor workspace conversations.

Data & Privacy

Focus Tiger processes:

  • User’s Slack user ID
  • User’s workspace ID
  • Focus goals and reflection responses submitted through the app

Focus Tiger does not access or read Slack channel messages.

All data is securely stored on EU-based servers (Germany). Data is processed in accordance with GDPR.

Focus Tiger requires permission to:

  • Send direct messages to users
  • Receive user responses to app prompts
  • Identify the installing workspace

No channel message history is accessed.
