What is the Tiger Hour?

The Tiger Hour is a dedicated time slot designed to help team members tackle tasks without distractions. No more juggling emails and Slack messages – it’s time to have deep focused work for an hour, leaving multitasking and procrastination behind.

How does it roll?

We will follow a format to maximize your concentration with ease:

  • Introduction: We’ll kick off with a quick (5-minute) brief of what the Tiger Hour is all about.
  • Focused work sessions: You’ll have two 25-minute focused work sessions, with a relaxing 5-minute breather in between for stretching, breathing, or a quick refresh.
  • Reflection: Cool things down with a short reflection period to share your wins and insights from the session.

Voluntary preparation tips to work as a pro:

To make the most of the Tiger Hour, consider the following preparation tips:

  • Exercise: Heat up your energy with some physical activity before the session to boost those dopamine levels and get your brain activating.
  • Digital detox: Give your phone a break for at least 5 minutes before we start.
  • Task selection: Choose your task ahead of time and close those distracting tabs on your laptop.
